Oat Latte in a charcoal mug
An oat latte in a charcoal mug, #947 of 999. Roastery light, oak counter. Foam on the surface. Tape sleeve. Special blend: Burnt. Scarce: Burnt. Uncommon, roast score 160.8.
The recipe
17.2 g · 36 g out · 192 ml barista oat · 60 °C
- Pull a double into the mug and have the jug ready before it finishes.
- Steam 192 ml of barista oat to 64 °C: air for the first two seconds only, then drop the tip under and spin it until the jug is too hot to hold.
- Knock the jug, swirl until it shines, and pour.
- Spoon the foam on last so it sits proud of the rim rather than folding in.
