Your shop
The counter
A shop opens with one short bar and a filter pot on it. The length, the back run the machine stands on, and the corner that turns it into an L are all bought — and each one visibly changes the shape of the room rather than adding a number to a readout.
The fit-out
Bought in order, cheapest first. Each one adds 0.20 to the shop multiplier, and the multiplier applies to a shift and an idle hour alike.
Behind the bar
Staff earn while the tab is closed, for up to 8 hours at a stretch — a cap, so a tab left open over a holiday cannot hand back a number that makes every shift after it pointless.
The house machine
The one the cup is made under, so it is the upgrade you look straight at while you play. Each rung is a different machine, and each pulls better shots.
The seasonal shelf
Four things, one per season, and only the season you are actually in is in stock. Each does something no fitting does.
The front of house
The doorway and what stands around it — the first thing anybody sees, and the reason a queue forms rather than a person arriving. Each rung makes the line longer.
The decorator’s board
Ten rooms, one shop — different walls, counters and furniture, not just different paint. Buying one keeps it, and moving between anything you own is free.

The board
Work that comes back. The day, the week and the month turn over on their own — a period you did not play is gone, not owed.
The roastery
Out the back, past the store room. There is a drum in there and nobody has lit it in years.

Upgrades
Six stations, five tiers each. They stack with the ladders rather than replacing them — a small bar that pulls beautiful coffee is a way to play.
What next
—
They pay out the moment they are done — there is nothing to come back and collect.

Style
None of this costs beans and none of it is an upgrade. The seed over your door decides where everything goes; the ladders decide how much of it there is; this decides what it is all made of. Change it as often as you like.

This is your shop
Bare boards, one machine, a till. Everything else in here is something you will have bought.
Arrows or WASD to walk — or the pad at the bottom on a phone. Walk up to anything with a sign over it and press Enter to open it.
Beans build it
The drinks you pull at the bar are the recipes out of your uncle’s book — all 999 of them, and every cup in the collection is one.
Pull a shift at the bar and the points you score come back as beans. Beans buy fit-out, a machine, staff, a menu, the front of house and ten styles for the room — and everything you buy appears in here.
Staff keep earning while you are away, up to a cap. That is the whole economy: work the bar, spend the beans, watch the room fill up.
Two ways to buy
Walk up to a thing and press Enter — you are looking straight at what you are buying, which is the better way.
Or use the bar along the bottom, which opens the same panels without the walk. A lime dot on a button means there is something in there you can afford right now.
The last button on it is your shop: beans, every ladder, what a shift is worth and what the staff earn.
Say good morning
Post a gm with your favourite cup out of the 999 and take 1,000 beans to open with. It is enough for the first rung and change, so there is something to buy the minute you walk in.

Take the picture with you: right-click the cup → Copy image, then paste it into the post with ⌘V or Ctrl+V. press and hold the cup → Copy, then paste it into the post. The button opens X with the words already written; the picture is the one thing a link cannot carry, so it goes in by hand.
Nothing checks the post. There is no login here and no handle to check it against, so this is on trust — we would rather say so than imply a guard that is not there. It is claimed once per shop.
Open your shop
A 0x address goes over the door and the shop starts trading. Until then you can pull a shift for the practice, but nothing is earned and nothing can be bought.
It is a name, not a login
Nothing is connected, nothing is signed, nothing is approved and no transaction is made. The shop still lives in this browser: put the same address in somewhere else and you get a different shop, not this one. If a page ever asks you to connect a wallet in our name, it is not us.
Your shop
Arrows or WASD to walk — left and right along the room, up and down between the counter and the tables. Stand in front of a thing and press Enter, or the button on the pad, to open it.
Two currencies
Points are what a shift was worth; the server recomputes them from the seed and they are what the leaderboard records. Beans are what your shop is worth. Nothing in this room touches the band, the needle or the run log, so every shift anyone plays is the same shift.
The shop is this browser's
No account, no server copy, nothing on a chain. Clearing site data empties the shop and a second device starts again from a till and a machine. Which also means none of it is verified — the bean count, and the calendar the seasonal shelf reads, are both yours to edit. We would rather say so than imply a guard that is not there; it costs nothing, because beans buy nothing but the shop.
